At Agape House Food Bank and Mini Treasures, volunteers are the heart of our ministry. Every day, caring community members help provide food, support, and hope to individuals and families throughout our community.

Whether you serve in our food bank, assist in our Mini Treasures thrift store, or help with special projects, your time and compassion make a meaningful difference.

As a Volunteer, You Can:

• Pack and distribute food boxes

• Sort and organize food donations

• Stock shelves and maintain inventory

• Welcome and assist guests with compassion

• Support community food drives and special events

• Help provide clothing, hygiene items, and household essentials

• Assist with seasonal outreach and special projects

As a community food bank and resource center, we provide free nutritious groceries, clothing, hygiene supplies, and essential household items to individuals and families in need. Each week, we serve approximately 200 households, and more than 800 households every month, including working families, seniors, veterans, single parents, individuals with disabilities, and those experiencing homelessness.

Behind every food box packed, every donation sorted, and every smile shared is a volunteer making a real difference.

Donation Pickup Drivers Needed Men and Women

Help us collect donated food, supplies, and resources from generous community partners.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Picking up donated items from local businesses, organizations, and community members

• Safely transporting donations to Eastern Oregon Mission locations

• Assisting with loading and unloading donations

• Supporting food rescue and donation collection efforts

Driver Volunteer Requirements:

• Complete a volunteer application form

• Possess a valid driver’s license

• Complete a background check

• Follow safe driving practices and organizational procedures

• Represent Eastern Oregon Mission with professionalism and compassion

Agape House Food Bank

Help provide nutritious food and essential resources to neighbors facing food insecurity.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Sorting and organizing food donations

• Packing food boxes and grocery orders

• Stocking shelves and organizing inventory

• Assisting guests with kindness and respect

• Receiving and organizing incoming donations

• Helping maintain a clean and welcoming environment

Volunteer Requirements

To help ensure the safety and well-being of our volunteers and guests, volunteers may be asked to:

• Complete a volunteer application stop by at our Office

• Watch the Oregon Food Bank Food Safety Training Video (required for food-related activities)
