Agape House Food Bank Partnerships

How the Partnership Works Together

The relationship can be understood as a four-tier system:

  1. Feeding America (National Level)

  2. Oregon Food Bank (State Level)

    • Secures and allocates food across the state

  3. CAPECO (Regional Level)

    • Receives, stores, and distributes food locally

  4. Agape House (Local Level)

    • Provides direct services to individuals and families in need

Our Partnerships

Agape House is proud to be part of a strong network of organizations working together to fight hunger and serve our community. Through partnerships with Feeding America Oregon Food Bank and CAPECO, we are able to provide consistent, nutritious food to individuals and families in need.

Working Together to Serve Our Community

As a partner agency within the Oregon Food Bank network, Agape House benefits from a statewide system that sources and distributes food efficiently and equitably. Oregon Food Bank secures food through donations, government programs, and partnerships with growers and retailers, ensuring a steady supply of resources for communities across Oregon.

At the regional level, CAPECO serves as our direct food bank partner. CAPECO receives food from Oregon Food Bank and distributes it to local agencies like Agape House. This partnership allows us to maintain a reliable inventory and respond to the growing needs of our community.

Local Impact

While these partnerships provide essential food resources, Agape House remains deeply rooted in the local community. In addition to food supplied through this network, we are supported by community donations, local businesses, farmers, grants, and dedicated volunteers. Together, these partnerships make it possible for us to serve our neighbors with dignity, compassion, and consistency.

ConneXions assists community members in getting connected to the many services offered throughout Umatilla and Morrow counties. The ConneXions team consists of certified, experienced Community Health Workers, as well as a highly trained nurse overseeing patient care. Community Health Workers work collaboratively with providers, services, and agencies to help our clients with health issues, basic needs, mental or behavioral health concerns, medical transportation, medication management, peer support, healthcare coverage, or financial needs.
