Back-pack Program

Backpack with various food items including canned goods, snack packs, and packaged food on a table.

Agape House’s backpack program offers essential support to elementary school students in Hermiston, Umatilla, Irrigon, and Stanfield by providing them with a backpack filled with easily-prepared, nutritious food. These students can take the backpacks home for the weekend and also receive lunch at school during the week. This program aims to ensure that the area’s neediest children have reliable access to meals both at school and at home, helping to reduce food insecurity and promote their overall well-being.
